Well…not sure if you’ve read about this or not, but the higher ups in both the FBI and the Justice Department think that the reason for the repubs in the House asking for documents from the Mueller investigation is to give them to the WH to help the idiot trump defend himself in his conspiracy with the Russians to steal the election….now let that sink in a minute…and now let’s replace idiot boy with any common thug criminal (which he is) and read that again…how would you feel if the House repubs were using their investigative power to get information from an ongoing investigation of crime by the mob, and then gave it to the mob boss being investigated? That’s exactly what is happening here and only a traitor to this country would undercut the Justice department from doing their job….especially since it involves a foreign power who has attacked our country and is continuing those attacks while every damn repub in power looks the other way or actively helps them by supporting the criminal in the WH. As I said yesterday, there is a reason for all of those House repubs trying to protect trump, they are in it up to their necks in Russian collusion just as he is…and some of them will be going to jail…just as he is…impeach…

“The Justice Department won’t be extorted”
Well….this is what it has come to in the repubs and the idiot trump’s administration….Rod Rosenstein, answering questions at a forum the other day said that…that the repubs in the House are trying to extort the Justice department into stopping the investigation in trump and his ongoing lawlessness…let that sink in for a minute….did you ever hear that about Obama’s administration? Nope, you sure as hell didn’t…and you never had Eric Holder having the threat of impeachment used against him to stop an investigation into Obama…what the hell is wrong with these people? I have a theory that the Russian collusion conspiracy goes way deeper than just trump and his campaign…and is going to dive into the heart of the repub party starting with Ryan and McConnell and going down to Nunes and the rest of the house repubs…after all, the NRA funneled over 30 million Russian dollars to repubs up and down the ticket and they are now hunkering down and getting ready to have all of their dirty laundry exposed to the public…and it is really, really dirty….impeach….
Rick Snyder is not too bright…
Well…thought I’d go with a little bit of local politics today after just seeing an ad that our idiot governor has done for his underling who is running for governor. In the ad, Snyder touts the “accomplishments” of his administration and he actually uses right to work as an accomplishment…yep he’s proud of the hand he has had in killing unions in this country and the result of lower wages for the people who are left working here…I mean, who the hell is that aimed at? At best, right to work is supported by only about 40% of the people in Michigan and those are all repubs…does he think that any independent who supports working people is going to think that’s a plus? I wonder if he should put in new ads that he poisoned an entire city and has done nothing to help Flint? I wonder if another ad should be that he passed the biggest tax increase on retirees in the history of the state? Or, another one that he and his repub cronies rigged the system so even though dems got more votes total in the last election, repubs control the entire state? You get my drift…The ads against Brian Calley are going to write themselves….and Snyder is not too bright if he thinks his “accomplishments” will sway anyone to continue the policies that have screwed over workers across the state…geez…
Lies and lying liars…
Well….just got back from riding the bike (no skipping for the third day in a row!) and I thought I’d do the last one for the month. I’m sure you’ve heard by now about the White House correspondents dinner and the roasting of the trump “administration” by the comedian Michelle Wolf…and the outrage, outrage, I tell you, about her calling out Sarah Sanders for lying to us every day from the podium in the WH. Now these snowflakes can’t take being told the truth? I wonder if truth to them is like Kryptonite…that if they get too close to it it will kill them? I had the thought the other day about how they can keep doing it day in and day out…I’m not sure about you but if I lied as much as she does it would corrode my well being but it appears like she and the other lying liars in this administration thrive on the lies, and the media does, too…after all, they keep letting them get away with it…for just once, I’d like to see one of the WH correspondents just get up and leave when she lies…maybe the rest of them would follow…we can only hope…geez…
An NRA talking point dies….
Well….with the good news that the NRA is getting it’s records ready for prosecutors who are looking at the conspiracy between Russia and the NRA to funnel Russian money to repub candidates, there was another little noted story about a new study that kills one of the NRA’s talking points that open carry and their more guns everywhere makes us safer and lowers the crime rate. Just one little problem with that…it doesn’t…in fact right to carry laws actually increase the crime rates where they are passed…the study found that in the ten years after these idiotic laws are passed, the incidents of violent crime will be 13 to 15% higher than if they stayed sane and didn’t pass these laws. So, the next time this talking point comes up, we all should call bullshit on it…more guns mean more crime…period. Geez….
Trump just can’t keep his mouth shut…
Well…it has been a strange day so far and I can’t shake the feeling that it is Friday…and I can’t shake the feeling that we are only inches from the idiot boy trump doing his final meltdown….that was really, really evident today with his call in to his propaganda channel, fox news, and the consensus of people who have seen it is that he is “unhinged”….and even the folks on fox cut him off when they understood that he was getting into shaky legal territory with his meandering rant. That was confirmed when the US attorney that is working on the Cohen case filed a motion less than two hours later saying that since idiot boy said that Cohen only did a “tiny, tiny little fraction” of trump’s legal work, they should expedite the review of documents seized in the raid of Cohen’s home and offices…and that the documents are not likely to be protected by attorney-client privilege. That wasn’t the only thing the moron in chief said…he also confirmed he lied when he said he knew nothing about the Stormy Daniels hush money by saying that Cohen represented him when dealing with Daniels. I can see Daniel’s attorney just grinning since the idiot boy just can’t keep his mouth shut….I say keep it up, moron, prison is getting ever closer….impeach…
Mulvaney runs on bribes…
Well….I probably shouldn’t be surprised that another repub just stood up and said that he won’t listen to anyone unless they give him cash…but damn, to come out and admit you have committed crimes throughout your political career seems to be a wee bit too much. That’s exactly what Mick Mulvaney did yesterday when he stood up in front of 1200 bankers and said this: “if you’re a lobbyist who never gave us money, I didn’t talk to you. If you’re a lobbyist who gave us money, I might talk to you.” So, Mulvaney is telling lobbyists or anyone else that wants to talk to him to pay him a bribe first or no dice….and this tells us all that he doesn’t give a damn about the people he works for, you and me, but just people who will line his pockets but doesn’t stop there…he also tells the bankers that they need to pay other repubs, too, and thinks it is “a fundamental underpinning of representative democracy” to pay-to-play and only people with money should have any say in the government. You know how I feel about this sickening revelation of how the repubs think…and, we can end this crap of government for the rich if we just vote in November….impeach…
I know you miss the politics…
Well…as you take a look at past issues here, this place has always been slanted toward politics since it has been something that I have been interested all my life…at least since the 1960 election which is the first one I remember. But, lately, the bad news has come so fast and hard that it is sometimes overwhelming to ingest it all…and that is one of the reasons that the political commentary has been a little sparse lately….I haven’t been feeling that I am adding to the conversation and that is a little troubling….maybe if I stay away from the idiot trump things will get better? Oh, there is one thing I did want to comment on that was in the news today about Scott Pruitt and the damage he is doing to to this country…and the latest outrage is that he is only going to use industry financed “science” for rulemaking…like oil industry research to write regulations considering pollution regulation…you get the drift…just like the tobacco industry research that continually said that smoking is good for you and was instrumental in delaying anything being done about the epidemic of lung cancer and heart disease that is still caused by smoking. So now industry shills will be writing regulations that, until now, used real science and had the goals of cleaning up the environment…remember the days of smog that used to choke this country…because they are coming back again….geez….
This makes me smile….
Well…after I just stopped laughing, I thought I’d do a shorty on the idiot trump’s non-invitation to Barbara Bush’s funeral….can you imagine how terrible a person has to be to have the Bushs not want them around? I can’t remember when a sitting president was pointedly not invited to what is essentially a state funeral…and I’m an old guy…but, it happened here…and in no uncertain terms, too, basically saying stay the hell away from us….and idiot boy tried to spin it into “I didn’t want to go anyway” saying that him being there would have been a “distraction” and his secret service protection would have been in the way…yeah, that’s a lie, too, since the Obamas, the Clintons and even Melania was there along with the Bushs who still get SS protection, too….all I know is that having the moron in chief snubbed like this makes me smile…a lot….impeach…
3 dollar a gallon gas is back..thanks, trump…
Well…I think I got lucky this morning when I decided to fill up the car at $2.69 a gallon and then noticed, when I was out on the bike, that the price has shot up to $2.95 a gallon…and since the repubs always blamed Obama for any price increases, I will do the same with the idiot trump…thanks, trump. Hey, trump voters, where’s your tax cut now? Just this price rise is over double what the tax cut was for most people…and when you couple it with the cost increases for health care that is entirely the doing of the repubs, you have been taken for the saps that you are. This doesn’t even factor in the nonsense on tariffs on Chinese steel that the Chinese have just responded to by raising tariffs on our crops by up to 156% which will put a bunch of farmers out of business this year. This is what you get when you put a moron in charge of economic policy who has no frickin clue what he is doing…cripes, he has no clue about anything…trump is just one of the most stupid people I have ever seen…and we are all paying the price for that stupidity…impeach…
