Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I lost at pool…made some money so that was cool…but, the damn electric company moved my bill date up three days so I almost missed paying it…slept okay but I am still sore everywhere and I’m not sure why that is…need to take some ibuprofen before the bike ride to see if that helps….but, the ride won’t be til later since it is still too cold outside to go right now…I did discover that the last Wings game is on at three this aft instead of tonight and I would have missed it without reading the papers this morning…not much to do today…I do have to do laundry and clean a little but that is about it….more later…

Need to keep up…
Well…the day turned out better than expected and I made a little cash so that is cool…and I got to put the top down out and back for pool and that always makes me smile….but, I think the clutch cylinder I replaced is going bad again…just doesn’t feel right…damn….one political thing that I am smiling about is the pushback the Koch brothers are finally getting on the lies they are spouting across the country…people are starting to recognize their ads when they come on and are skipping them…they have already spent over 30 million dollars on trying to buy the senate in this election but have not moved the needle one bit…that even makes me laugh out loud…couldn’t happen to “nicer” people…that was snark if you didn’t know….
April 25th
Well…it was an okay day yesterday but the Wings lost, again, so I am a little out of sorts this morning…no, that’s not it…I fell off a cliff last night and the fallout is still here this morning….it looks like it’s going to be one of those days where I just endure it and try to get to the end of the day with as little damage as I can muster….slept okay but I just don’t care that I did….right now, I just don’t care about much…going to go back to the couch and watch a marathon of ‘Six Feet Under” and wallow in the depression for the morning….and hope that it stops raining so I can get on the bike…but, it’s too damn cold to do that right now…maybe that’s part of it?

Well…not sure if you’ve been following the saga of the right wing hero rancher, Cliven Bundy, who has been in the news for his theft of almost a million dollars in grazing fees on federal land which he feels he has every right to steal since he doesn’t recognize that the federal government exists. Yeah, another one of those, these self righteous grifters on the right who feel they can just ignore any law they don’t agree with if they can profit by it. But, it gets even worse…or should I say it gets more normal for the right with the comments this idiot made this morning about “Negroes” who were better off as slaves than getting subsidies like food stamps or other parts of the safety net since getting help from the government of course takes away your incentive to work and is a bad use of tax dollars. But, he has no problem with stealing a million dollars in “rancher welfare” to allow him to keep that million dollars in profit…after all, he is entitled to it since the federal government has no right to collect those fees….just like the folks at Walmart and almost every other right wing company who pay their workers too little to live on and then watch the feds make up the balance in Medicaid and food stamps while they line their pockets with yours and my tax dollars…just what ole Cliven is doing…and just what everyone on the right supports. Grifters all…geez…
April 24th
Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I made a little cash so there will be groceries today…slept okay, too, but I am so sore from something that I am creaking around here this morning…I may even have to take some ibuprofen to try to help that….taking a day off the bike may help, too but that will be dictated by the rain….might have to wait until this aft….it was nice to get out of here and put the top down for a cruise yesterday but I think that is about all I accomplished for the whole day…some work around here, too, but not enough…not much to do today…I do have to make the grocery run and then out for a couple with G later so I do have something to do….more later…
This guy runs the RNC?
Well…I am still laughing after reading about this one earlier in the afternoon and I wonder if all the people in the repub party are this stupid? If you haven’t heard the laughter yet, the head of the RNC…the guy with the just improbable name, came out today and called for an investigation since Harry Reid is using his Twitter account to attack the Koch brothers and the idiots on the right…and the reason he wants this investigation? The idiot called it “using his government paid for Twitter account for political purposes”….this idiot is so stupid or out of touch that he doesn’t know that Twitter accounts are free with sign up…no government or any other kind of payment so where is the scandal? There isn’t one…just like the rest of the fake scandals that have been perpetrated by the right….just a bunch of idiots who don’t want to govern…just try to score points…geez…

Well…it was a different day yesterday and theWwings lost so that was pretty crappy…not sure if I’m going to watch any more games they played so bad…we’ll see….slept okay last night and was not up too early today so that is a plus for now…skipped the bike ride yesterday since I was working on plumbing at G’s and that took a bunch of running around….I am going to try to get back out today but it won’t be til this aft since it is damn cold again today…and, I do want to finish up the Homeland series I’ve been watching on Plex…so that will be this morning along with some work around here that will get me to lunch…then, I’ll have to figure out the rest of the day…more later….
Terri Land is just ridiculous…
Well…I am dumbfounded by the new ad being run by Terri Land attacking Gary Peters here in Michigan in the senate race for Levin’s seat…basically, the entire ad is this: I am a woman so I know about women’s issues and since Gary Peters is a man, he doesn’t. Yep, that is the entire ad…but to me, the real issue here is not that Terri is a woman and understands women’s issues…which is just not true by the way…the real issue is that, in her time in congress, she just doesn’t give a damn about those issues…she voted to repeal Obamacare 50 plus times, and has made it clear that any attempt to even out the wage disparity between men and women has been rejected by her and her cronies in the repub party…along with her support of the restriction of women’s rights that is at the forefront of the modern repub party.,..exactly what issues does she care about? What issues does she think are important…you can never find that out since she never takes questions from the press…sending out aides to answer…is it because she just isn’t bright enough to talk without talking points? Just like the rest of the repubs…stonewall or lie until you are elected and then do exactly what the rest of the repub party does…make laws for their rich donors and then grift to get a piece of it….geez…
April 22nd
Well…running a little late today with going out to the grocery store after the realization that I didn’t have any food for today…but, I was good and didn’t buy any booze since I am in the midst of being good until at least Thursday….I am getting used to it and feel so much better in the morning that I may even go until Friday night without cocktails….even slept okay last night and the tooth is finally starting to heal…still hurts when I eat but that is the only pain and is a long way better than it was last week…I do have to run over to G’s rental this morning to take a look at a leaking shower and see if it can be fixed without a plumber….not work I like to do anymore but I don’t really have anything else going on…too windy and cold to go out on the bike today and the sprints hurt the legs anyway…a day off will be okay…or, I may go out later after the plumbing…who knows? More later…
Not doing my job…
Well…with the lack of politics in the news the past few days…I really haven’t had a lot to write about…but that is no excuse for not doing my job and coming up with off the wall topics…and even something interesting that doesn’t have anything to do about politics….so, what could that be? Not sure right now…maybe a series on the musing of the day? Or just thoughts? I did get out of here for a while today to take the car out with the top down, windows down, and the heat off today in a short sleeved shirt…it was nearly 80 after all, and that was fun…did the park run and put about 50 miles on it today just screwing around…got sunburned a little, too, but I may live through that….have just wasted the day other than that so I really don’t have much to say right now….I’ll try to get better tomorrow but can’t promise anything…after all, I have done over 3,000 of these over the years…I should be blocked a little anyway….
