Well…slept a little better last night with my shoulder getting better and that was a welcome change…I’ve been able to pick up a coffee cup this morning…still with some pain but, when I got up yesterday, it was impossible to do it hurt so bad…and trying to lift the ham out of the oven damn near killed me with pain…I think part of it is taking ibuprofen to get the swelling down…now it’s mostly just tight instead of pain so I think I’ll skip calling the doctor and just see how the healing goes…I am going to get back on the bike today as soon as it gets light but will take it easy…I do need to get out and back before 10 since Man U is playing this morning…I did have a nice ham dinner yesterday and that leaves me enough leftovers to eat for a week or so… so I won’t be cooking at all the rest of the week…I do have to clean some but think I’ll wait until the shoulder heals more…don’t want to do too much and aggravate it…more later…

The toddler in chief is sad…
Well…cripes is there anything more pathetic than the toddler in chief sitting in the WH and whining his ass off about everything? What a damn crybaby…who is just pissed that he didn’t get to go to his ugly golf course in Florida for 16 days because the dems said no to his stupid wall and won’t be bullied into funding it…so now trump just sits there…lashing out at everything and everyone and threatening to fire his Treasure Secretary and the head of the Federal Reserve…but, if he does that, who would ever take those jobs? He’s already down to the fourth string in every cabinet post and has more and more people turning him down for any job…many before they are even asked just to make sure they stay away from the shitstorm that is coming on January 3rd when the dems take over the House. It couldn’t happen to a worse person than trump..that finally, he is going to have to pay for a life of lies, cheating and hate…and I hope it sweeps the entire trump crime family away with him…impeach…
December 25th
Well…okay, this is what I expected…my shoulder is screaming in pain today and it is fitting the two day rule where damage shows up two days after it happens…and I can barely use it…even just took some pain meds this early to take the top off the pain…still don’t think I broke anything but if it stays this way, I’ll call the doctor tomorrow and see if I can get in….I’ve sure regressed since yesterday and that is depressing…didn’t sleep well at all last night and I am feeling it right now…that’s why I’m easing into the day and hoping that the coffee works soon…I am going to make a big dinner today for some reason but peeling the potatoes is going to be a chore that I’m not sure how it will work…still can’t put any pressure on my right shoulder and can’t raise my arm at all…crap…I was hoping the healing would be on it’s way today…okay…going to stop bitching about that right now and come back later to do another one…more later…
Say goodbye to another 3%…
Well….with the idiots in charge of the economy that trump has appointed, everyone who has a 401K or IRA has lost another 3% today…that translates to almost 700 points down again today…and with the bloodbath from last week, we are on pace for the worst December in stock market history…hey, let’s just add another worst to the worst president in history. This isn’t going to end here, either…the people who know what they are doing are bailing out of the stock market since they finally realize that the know nothings running the show don’t have the experience or knowledge necessary to deal with an economy heading fast toward a recession…the idiot sec of the treasury, Steve Mnuchin triggered this last crash in the market by calling the heads of many large banks just to ask them if everything’s okay…something he would know if he wasn’t on vacation in Cabo while his idiot boss shuts down the government and puts hundreds of thousands of working people out of work. One thing you have to remember is that qualifications aren’t necessary for anyone in trump world…in fact, knowledge and experience are disqualifying to the idiot in chief…anyone who is qualified and respected in his field wouldn’t work for the stupident anyway…everyone better hang on, this is going to get really, really ugly…what does it take repubs? Bankrupting the entire country before you’ll do anything? Impeach….
It still hurts…
Well….damn, my shoulder still hurts but I did get out to run the errands I needed to…trying to put the car in reverse was just too painful so I had to reach across and use my left hand to do it…even putting the key in the ignition hurt like crazy and I couldn’t raise my arm enough to use it to steer…but, I normally use my left hand anyway so that wasn’t too different…the worst part was trying to put a fleece on since I can’t raise my arm or put any pressure on it….can’t even lift a coffee cup with my arm extended…but, I will say this…the pain is less than yesterday…it doesn’t hurt much just sitting here today and that is without taking any ibuprofen yet….couldn’t even get off the couch yesterday without screaming pain and that is better so maybe I won’t have to see my doctor after all…I am going to skip the bike ride today but l’ll try it tomorrow…more later…
December 24th
Well…this is really hard to write this morning with my shoulder getting worse today, as I expected, and it hurts like crazy still so it will be another day of laying low and trying to keep it moving a little…it has a big lump on it so I may have broken something in there…will call my doctor wed and see if I can get in this week for x-rays….damn, more money going out….sleeping was a chore trying to not sleep on it and keep it braced by pillows so it wouldn’t move…looks like I am going to get much better using my left hand over the next couple of weeks…of course I didn’t get much done yesterday and today will be the same…I did get some laundry done but that was about it…I do have an errand to run this morning and I’m not sure how shifting the car is going to work but I guess I’ll find out in a little while….more later….
It finally happened…
Well…it finally happened this morning…crashed the bike hard and did a bunch of damage..to me…the bike is okay but I landed on my right knee and shoulder and it hurts like crazy…don’t think I broke anything because I can still move my shoulder…it kind of feels like I just raked a half acre or chipped some ice but I know it’s going to get worse as the day goes on…luckily, I fell on a patch of dirt and grass but it did make a lot of crunching noises when I hit with my shoulder….the bitch is it all came from starting to turn 6 inches too soon after crossing one of the slippery bridges and just lost the front end…I did ride the bike back here and it looks like just a couple of scratches is all the damage done to it…so, today is going to be laying low but I need to keep moving my shoulder so it doesn’t freeze up…cripes, it even hurts to lift a glass of water so today is not going to be fun….ick…
December 23rd
Well…have had a damn headache for three days now and it is getting really annoying…and I’m not sure if it’s allergies or what but it needs to stop soon…slept okay last night but up again at 5 and that is no fun…but, the coffee is working so that we get me ready for the bike ride in a few minutes…went out yesterday when it was still almost dark but don’t want to do that today…but, I think that will be dictated by the boredom level that I feel…and that is starting already with no soccer until almost 11 today…didn’t get much done yesterday but watch Man U and a bunch of other sports and today looks the same…I did clean a little and will probably do a little more of that today…I may make my big ham today instead of waiting until Tuesday since I really don’t celebrate any religious holidays so there is no reason to wait…other than I have timed out my leftovers to be used up tomorrow and I do need the space in the fridge…okay, I just took some ibuprofen for my headache and I hope it works soon…more later…

Well… sitting here waiting for the second half of the Man U match to start so I thought I’d come here for a second one of these…not really any reason for it but I just need to stay ahead for the month….but, no politics other than to say that the idiot boy owns the government shutdown and the fallout from it is owned by the repub party…so, on to other things…there were some decorations in the trees on the trail today and that made me smile some and I forgot to mention that a woman was handing out candy canes out there yesterday and that made me smile, too…got out this morning before it was light enough to see the display on the computer and that is probably the only time I’ve done that…but, I needed to get out before the boredom set in…and it was cold enough that I am still trying to warm up even with it 75 in here…have had the blankets piled on me this aft and once I’m done with this, I’m getting back under them…so, I’m done with this….
December 22nd
Well…running on time this morning but getting started is much more work than I expect…let’s start this one again…I’m bored of talking about how I sleep or how I hurt or anything…so, what do I talk about? Politics is for another one of these later so that is out…I did get quite a bit of stuff done yesterday morning but the funny thing is that paying bills, running errands, working out, and doing laundry only took me until 10 am and then the rain stopped and I got on the bike for a nice ride….finally figured out the shifter and got the 6-7 shift to work every time now so that is cool…I did get to 3400 miles yesterday and now the goal is to do 100 more before the end of the year and that will make it the third most miles in a year….and the bike still rides like new after all those miles…once the snow comes, I am going to switch the tires around so I’ll get another year out of them before I have to buy new ones…and I’ll think I’ll do that for the brake pads, too…not much to do today…just going to watch some sports and clean some…I am curious to see how Man U plays with the new manager…they can’t play worse…more later…
