Well…I have finally been getting out into nature again and with the snow going away, there is finally a bunch of wildlife to see when I’m out on the bike. And yesterday, I saw a really cool thing that I was going denote “trail weirdness” but “duck skills” fit too…so you decide.
\nWhile I was on the bike going through a little cut that leads to a bridge that crosses a creek, I noticed a duck coming from behind me over my left shoulder at about 30 feet or so in the air….once it passed me, it did a 6 g 180 turn with it’s wings completely vertical so I could see the tops of them along with it’s back…when it reached the creek, it slammed on the brakes and stalled, folded it’s wings and fell 20 feet straight down into the creek that is no wider than 3 feet where it landed….one of the coolest bits of flying I’ve seen in a while…made me laugh like crazy….<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
