Well…I am amazed how much difference it makes to the bike just replacing a cracked pedal that flexed a bunch….now my right foot stays on the pedal without having to stress my hip at all…and the pain is almost gone…but, that’s not what this is about…a few days back, as I was in the fastest downhill that has a left-right-left fast curve in it, the damnedest thing happened…just in front of me, three bunnies on each side of the trail ran out and crossed right in front of me and then disappeared into the brush…now, I’m sure they didn’t practice that move but it couldn’t have been better synchronized if they did…I laughed my butt off for the rest of the ride at that sight…oh, one more thing…this morning as I was just starting my ride, a groundhog ran out onto the trail, between my wheels, and I whacked him with my right pedal, sending him rolling down the trail…I looked back to see if he was hurt and he just sat up, shook his head, and then took off into the brush….not sure why these animals have such a deathwish, or maybe they are just having fun?
