Well…it’s been a pretty lazy day today but I did learn three things that may be important but probably aren’t…first, the instant pot is not the best way to cook everything…the turkey breast that I made this morning was not even close to being as good as using the brining\/roasting methods I’ve developed over the years…it came out dry and tough when my roasted ones are always moist and tender…second, it’s not a good idea to go out for a bike ride right after having a big lunch….it was such a struggle and I felt lousy through the whole thing and I won’t do that again…and, part of that might have been that the coffee had worn off, too…third, cleaning the oven without using gloves is a really bad idea…the skin on my right hand started flaking off earlier today and it continues now…it may be that I bought heavy duty oven cleaner instead of the normal stuff…whatever it is, I am getting gloves this week…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
