Well…26 degrees…in frickin May…record cold that I can’t remember ever happening before…and I’m old…that’s just depressing….but, after the next 5 days, the weather is supposed to get back to almost normal and I am going to be able to plant my veggie garden…finally…feel pretty crappy this morning after having cocktails last night but I don’t hurt as much as I did the past few days and I hope taking the day off the bike yesterday will help that too…but I am going to get out later today after it gets over 42 so I can go out without gloves or a stocking hat….used up the last of the bird food yesterday and saw something pretty cool….some young sparrows that were being fed seed by their mother on my window feeder…have never seen that before…I did have an almost no work day yesterday but it was harder than I expected…and boring, boring, boring…the day seemed like it lasted forever and my guilt about doing nothing welled up all day to the point where it wasn’t too enjoyable….so, not going to do that today…probably won’t do a lot but I will do some stuff….have cleaning and laundry to do and I may bake a loaf of bread since I was able to find yeast at Meijers and I have some bread flour that I can use….I did cover the 4 tomato plants that I have outside but they were looking pretty scraggly even before the cold so I don’t think they are going to survive it….so I planted 4 more seeds that just came up and I will be able to plant those in their place….more later….<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
