Well…here we go into the last day of the month and I am hoping that the winter ends after the next month so I can get back outside on the bike…but, I’ll have to have the kitchen done before then so I need to get my butt in gear to have that happen…slept okay last night but had dreams about horse racing for the second time in a week and that is strange since I’ve never been to one and have never bet on a horse race…I did sleep okay and feel good with getting to a full month of no cocktails other than the one night out but I’m starting to eat more and need to have more discipline if I’m going to maintain or lose weight this winter….didn’t do a thing yesterday and my hands are thanking me for it…they are much less stiff and most of the pain is gone and the cut on my right index finger is almost healed but I am going to start abusing them this morning with getting started on the cabinet doors after I get on the bike…not sure how long they are going to take but I know I have 11 of them and a filler plate to sand fill and paint and I need to work out how to do that efficiently since I want to do all the insides at one time and all of the faces at one time to save money on roller covers since I am going to roll the flat parts for the finish…if I work my butt off, I may be able to get all of the first sanding and filling done today and then on to the finish sanding tomorrow with painting starting Wed…if I can do that schedule, I can start hanging doors Friday and have them done over the weekend…I hope that I’ve had enough curing time for the shelves in the cupboards so I can start putting things back into them but I need to get the wall patch sanded first so I can clean up the dust that will go everywhere…at least with the doors on, the dust will stay outside the cabinets and make the cleanup easier….more later…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
