Well…damn, still feel like crap this morning and just burned one of my covid tests to see if I may have picked that up even with still masking everywhere I go…it feels like a cold or the flu but I don’t feel that badly, just a little warm and worn out…and I feel like I have an infection in my right salivary gland…it hurts a bit but I don’t have a sore throat other than that from the pollen that is everywhere out here…my car is coated with it even being stored in the garage…and I just got a little “pollen high” alert in the lower banner on the laptop so it must be pretty bad out here…so, in 5 minutes I’ll know what the deal is….and then try to figure out what to do if I do have an infection without having a doctor out here….it is still raining out here and we sure needed it with not getting any for a couple of weeks…saw one flash of lightning last night but that was it for the storms that were supposed to last all night…I could really use a big boomer storm to watch….not sure if I’m going to get out on the bike today but I probably will after it dries up a bit but only for two rides if there is a big enough window….the signs for the new development on the point went up yesterday and there was a busload of potential customers doing a tour…and the strange thing is that they were all oldsters and I wonder how these folks could afford a half million dollars for the smallest condo? Okay, just read my test and no covid…so I must have a cold or a severe reaction to my allergies that is going on….and that is a relief…and it’s weird to be relieved that I have a cold or other virus that is making me feel like crap….oh, back to the condos….the signs say that the project will be opening in 2024 with two condo buildings along with a huge marina and common house complex…but that means that they need to get moving fast since the condo buildings are going to be at least 5 stories tall and there is no infrastructure for the boat slips at all…sure hope they keep my trail open while the construction is going on….not much to do today….with it raining right now, I will have to wait to go out on the bike so I may make a run to ollies to get a couple more t-shirts since they have them on sale again for 1.99 and then I can replace the last of the old ones and use them for working around here….I should clean the basement up some to stay ahead of the cobwebs and start sorting out the old clothes to go to goodwill but we’ll see….more later….<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
