Well…with the repubs doing their best to telegraph the chaos they are planning when they take over the house in a month, Nancy Pelosi has a parting gift for them since they are planning to hold the country hostage with the cost being cutting SS and Medicare…Nancy and her counterparts in the senate are working on a deal to fund the government for a year so so they will only have a year to screw things up until the 2024 election…now this is something I’ve advocated for in the lame duck session of congress, get everything done you want and that the country needs before the bomb throwers take over and wreck the place…and they’ve started out well with codifying same sex and interracial marriage and I really do hope they get the protection of democracy done by passing a new voting rights act and federal abortion rights…but there really is no time since in the 30 days they have left, they are only going to be in session for half that….so get after it dems before the darkness falls…geez…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
