Well…had the second zoom call this morning with my surgeon’s NP for a check up and it went well…in fact, she was amazed at how well I’ve progressed after the surgery…no one gets to this point in 6 weeks so I feel pretty good about that and now I’m done with doctors until November 3rd when I have my yearly checkup…going to lose the weight back that I gained and will gain on the trip but that only give me a month or so to take 10 pounds off…so it will mean full 30 mile days and down to 1K calories again…I did get the suitcase packed but had to take a bunch of stuff out to be able to get the zippers closed so I’ll be doubling up clothes at some point during the trip since I didn’t have enough room for 9 full changes…only have 4 shirts and nothing dressy so no fine dining for me….and that’s okay…have been taking it easy on cocktails this week, waiting to start til 9 so I only have time to have one and that’s been good for me…going to get the new covid vaccine and a flu shot in the morning tomorrow and I hope they have Sternberg road finished so I can get to Meijers…okay, time to stop the water for the day and watch a race…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
