Well…you know I’ve had a wish that there would be trains that I could use to get around the state and the rest of the country, but that is not going to happen in my lifetime but the Biden administration just earmarked almost 8 billion dollars to go for rail extensions and upgrades so many of the rails will qualify for high speed trains…I know this is a baby step but you have to start somewhere…and it would be so cool if I could walk down to the park down the hill and get on a train to GR for the day…but then you don’t have any way other than a car to get to the suburbs…when I was young they had busses that ran from GR to Ada and my mother took me to downtown GR when I was about 6 but not now….I really like the trains in the UK since every town had a train station and other forms of transport like the trams in Manchester or Dublin…or the underground in London…that would be cool to have intercity rail again like they did back in the 40’s and 50’s…oh, well…I can dream…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
