Well…not sure if I’ve ever done one of these before, but there are a few things I’m thankful for and thought I’d talk a bit about them…first of all is the 17 months of being cancer free since my surgery in July of 2023…and I still marvel at all of the things that had to fall into place to have that happen…and to have the outcome I’ve had, being back to almost normal so fast that today I really don’t think about it much…and to have my own home that had the same kind of things fall into place there, too, for me to have it…and to be making money on the place every day and I may have enough equity and cash to give each one of my kids 50K when I go…and to have enough money in the bank to not worry for the first time in my life…but I still can’t bring myself to buy a new stove and spend the 700 bucks it will take…maybe later…and a big one…to have the good health I have to be able to have only 370 miles to go to get to 10K for the year…and that’s not bad for an old guy…so yeah…I’ve been pretty lucky over the past 4 years…and let’s hope for another 4 at least…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
