Well…even the right wing rag “The Wall Street Journal” is calling the trade war the idiot boy started “stupid” and they can’t figure out what the purpose of it is…it’s not like Mexico or Canada is dumping imports to the US to hurt business here…which is the normal use of tariffs…they’re not…and as always, the people the idiot has surrounded himself with people who think economics will work the way they say it will, not as it does…a bunch of wishful thinking that started back with reagan and his voodoo economics and carried tight through the Laffer curve…you remember that one, right…the doozy that said tax cuts pay for themselves with economic growth? Not a thing they are doing has any factual basis…and they really don’t know how much attacking our greatest trading partner, Canada, is going to hurt the US…how are farmers going to deal with the 80% of fertilizer production that Canada sends us being 25% more expensive tomorrow? Or the auto manufacturers who get 50% of their parts from Mexico and Canada?
