Well…it was an okay day today and I got some real deals at DD today…I mean a half pound of bacon for a buck? Or a 12 oz package of thin sliced mesquite smoked turkey for a buck? Or a 12 oz package of honey ham for a buck? They had their 10 for 10 bucks sale on and I spent 12 bucks on a huge bag of food…even got a package of mixed salami for a buck…pretty good deal…now I need to find room in the freezer for most of it…it didn’t rain while I was running errands this morning so I didn’t have to wash the car…I did get 33 miles in on the bike today but it was more of a struggle than I like…I’ll have to get on the bike early tomorrow to get the miles in before I head out to shoot pool at 1pm…and my friend K might just come for a bit and it would be good to see her since I haven’t seen her in almost two years…and then I can show her the new car, too….I did make the potato salad this aft and the eggs were okay…thought I overcooked the eggs but they were okay…and the red potatoes worked just fine…so again, I have too much food here but that’s okay…haven’t been eating enough and my clothes have started to hang on me…it’s finally raining here and we really need it but there’s nowhere near what they forecast…oh,well…back to reading…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
