Well…you know, there are days like this that just make me shake my head about how close the calls can be sometimes…when I was on the road part of the trail this morning, some idiot in a red tesla damn near ran me over…he was driving down the center of the damn bike lane and only missed me by about 4 inches…when I looked at him, he was looking down like he was frickin texting…maybe on that stupid autopilot that has killed about 100 people…then, on the way back I was at the main drag and hit the crossing button…got a green light for my direction but, as I always do, I hesitated and looked at the traffic before I started across…and that was a good thing since some maga idiot flying maga flags on the back of his pickup truck ran through the light a good 15 seconds after the light had changed to red in his direction…a cyclist got run over in this same spot last year so I’m really careful since it seems like stop lights and stop signs are just a suggestion around here and I see people running them all the time…all I can do is shake my head at all of this and be glad that I pay attention for everyone all the time since I can’t depend on anyone to follow the rules…oh, well…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
