Well…when I went out this morning to get the first ride in, it smelled like every house around me had a campfire last night and it appeared foggy…but, it was not fog but wildfire smoke from Canada that has blanketed Muskegon in a pall that looks like a heavy fog…the AQI (or air quality index) is at 277 which means to stay inside and outside activity is discouraged since it is dangerous to health…so, of course, I went out for a ride but didn’t know how bad the air was until I got out to the beach and was coughing like crazy…then looked at the phone and saw the AQI score that is “extremely unhealthy” and figured they might be right…by the time I got back here I was short of breath and the last climb damn near killed me…so, I closed this place up and put the hepa filters on and will hunker down inside for the rest of the day…no more rides since my lungs are still full of crap and I’m still coughing…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
