{"id":8919,"date":"2014-08-12T17:43:25","date_gmt":"2014-08-12T21:43:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jamesdevol.com\/?p=8919"},"modified":"2014-08-12T17:43:25","modified_gmt":"2014-08-12T21:43:25","slug":"a-melancholy-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/jamesdevol.com\/?p=8919","title":{"rendered":"A melancholy day&#8230;."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well&#8230;it has been a melancholy day today with the events and the rain and coolness and I have been kind of just letting the day flow as it would without really doing much&#8230;just couldn&#8217;t get motivated&#8230;I did do a few things just to make sure the entire day wasn&#8217;t a waste&#8230;.it is somewhat disheartening to wake up to another day and another unarmed young man being shot in the back by police and the predictable riots that happen in protest&#8230;I just don&#8217;t understand why anyone would shoot someone who is unarmed&#8230;where&#8217;s the danger for the cop? Why is everyone so afraid these days? Crime is down by all measures but everyone feels the need to carry guns everywhere?
