Well…not a lot going on today except for the Tigers home opener so I thought I’d just talk a little about politics….there has been some huge amounts of sniping going on between Bernie and Hillary over the past month or so and I’ve had a problem with it…after all, we’re supposed to be the party of ideas not of nastiness like the repubs…but, in a good sign for the general, the two campaigns have called a truce…at least on who is qualified to be president anyway…but, I think they need to stretch that truce to include everything…we have made the mistake in the past of being repub light when that’s not what people want…at least on our side…and, you don’t appeal to independents by being meaner and nastier than the repubs…and I don’t think anyone can be nastier than Trump or Cruz….what we need to do is continue to highlight the policy differences between us and them…and we’ve had 35 years to figure that out since the repubs have been saying the same things that don’t work since Reagan and they aren’t going to change now…geez…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
