Well…with the meltdown of Devin Nunes and his destruction of the credibility of the house intelligence committee that is supposed to be investigating trump’s collusion with the Russians to steal the election, the only hope I see to save this country from trump is a republican senator from NC, Richard Burr. I watched a piece on Laurence O’Donnell’s show where he was interviewed and he and his dem counterpart, Mark Warner, made all the right noises and it appeared he understands what his job is…to get to the truth, not to protect anyone and he even mentioned that some people may go to jail as a result of his investigation….contrast that to Nunes erratic behavior where he has been coordinating with the white house to derail any investigation….I have hope that senator Burr will do what another NC senator, Sam Ervin, did during Watergate…hold people responsible for breaking the law….this country is hanging by a thread…impeach….<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
