Well….with the good news that the NRA is getting it’s records ready for prosecutors who are looking at the conspiracy between Russia and the NRA to funnel Russian money to repub candidates, there was another little noted story about a new study that kills one of the NRA’s talking points that open carry and their more guns everywhere makes us safer and lowers the crime rate. Just one little problem with that…it doesn’t…in fact right to carry laws actually increase the crime rates where they are passed…the study found that in the ten years after these idiotic laws are passed, the incidents of violent crime will be 13 to 15% higher than if they stayed sane and didn’t pass these laws. So, the next time this talking point comes up, we all should call bullshit on it…more guns mean more crime…period. Geez….<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
