Well….politics with trump involved has gotten so tiresome that I am not going to write about it today….instead, I want to talk a little bit about trail stuff…haven’t written much about that lately since there really hasn’t been much going on that would be interesting…but today, there was a sad thing that I wanted to relate…heading up to the last water stop at the park this morning, I looked a little farther south along Eastern before I turned up the trail to the park and saw lump of something lying in the road…but it was almost 100 yards away so I just caught a little bit of the color…there are very few animals in the wild that are red and that meant it was probably a red fox that had been hit by a car…after I finished the ride, I had some errands to run and needed some tomatoes, and that led me right past where I had seen the red animal earlier…and it was a red fox that had been killed by a car….now, I know there are many more foxes in the wild around here than there ever were since I moved out here in 1980….and I have seen a half dozen of them in the past few years, but it is still a shock to see one lying in the road dead…just a little sadness temper an otherwise okay day….<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
