Well…as we all know, the repubs won’t stop until the only people who have anything in this country are the people who are already rich…and the idiot trump’s budget that just landed with a thud heard all across the country is another attempt to do that. 900 billion taken away from Medicare…over 800 billion out of Medicaid…billions out of Social Security and cuts to every other damn program that makes life livable for anyone who is not a millionaire…including all of the money in the budget that was there to protect the Great lakes. I guess the repubs are no longer even trying to hide the contempt they have for the people who built this country and have had to work for a living….and they are still trying to sell the whole idea of cuts to the safety net by the hoary old chestnut that the cuts won’t affect care but will come out of the “waste and fraud” that they have been trying to find for the past 40 years…and have never found it. I wonder if the repubs want to lose the 2020 election…with this budget, the election ads are writing themselves and will force them to defend attacking the most vulnerable in this country…and with the new spine that the dems are showing, this is all going to be fair game…and when trump is out of office, he is going to jail….that made me smile a little…impeach…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
