Well…as you know, I have been trying to help rehab a house that my son owns over on the west side but after looking at it with hard eyes, the job is too big for me to do so I am going to try to find a contractor to do the work if it it economically feasible to do it…but that means getting a loan for 20-30K to do all the work…there are other options like just selling the house as is and having my son take the money to use for a down payment on another one…but he is not too cool with that and I feel bad for him…still have work to do next week…I did get hold of my brother and he might be able to help out with contractor referrals and even with a guy that would buy the house to flip it…so that was cool…hadn’t talked to him in a couple of years so it was nice to catch up…oh, and he bitched at me that I don’t know my credit score after building credit for the past 18 months or so…I was pleasantly surprised when I go my yearly free report today from all three agencies…my low score was 729, the next 736, and the best one was 758….and my brother said that I only need around 600 to get a loan for a house so that makes me a little happy after the disappointment of the day….now I need to find a house….with that credit score and over 40 k in cash for a down, I know I’ll be able to get one….<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
