Well…running a little late again this morning and, again, there is no reason for it other than I had to read the news to see what happened overnight…there is a little good news in that my eye appears to be healing some but there is bad news that my ribs aren’t….still hurts to just sit here and do this so I do need to take some ibuprofen before the grocery run today….other than that, I don’t feel too bad this morning…I almost fell into the 3 rides mistake yesterday since I had the second one done before lunch but sanity, what little of it I have, prevailed and I realized I’m not young anymore and that 45 miles in a day could do some real damage to this old body that I inhabit….I did get some gardening done yesterday and have all of the plants out that I had started downstairs…if they all live, everyone I know is going to be tired of getting free produce starting in August…might have to put a table out in the front yard with “free” on it to make sure it doesn’t go to waste…and, I am going to can some of the beans, peppers, and tomatoes since I have quart jars and the pressure cooker to use so I’ll be moving lots of jars when I find a house to buy….going to make my own tomato sauce too, just to try something new…and salsa…I wonder if you can can that? Not much to do today…just the grocery run and then out for the rides…I’m taking a little time off heavy work around here to try to let the ribs heal but I’ll be back at it early next week…I hope….more later….<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
