Well…this is weird…woke up this morning and my foot doesn’t hurt at all…I wonder how the heck that works after hobbling around here all day yesterday? Who knows, but I’ll take it…I was so damn stiff and sore yesterday that I could barely move without huge effort….I’m still stiff and sore today but it has gone down by 50% so I’m not limping around here anymore….I did take an ibuprofen last night but one can’t take away all that pain…can it? I have been lucky so far this summer with my allergies but they have flared this morning and my head is plugged up completely so I may have to take something for it…almost did last night to get ahead of it but got distracted by something and forgot to….I am going to continue to take the electrolyte stuff my daughter sent me since I think it’s making a difference on the second rides of the day with my legs not going nearly as flat as normal but I do think I need to take a day off soon just for some repair of the legs…I did get to 3,000 miles yesterday so it does look like I am going to make it to 5K for the year pretty easily if I keep up the 36 miles a day pace…I do have to buy a new rear tire soon since the one on the bike has a big cut in it that goes all the way through to the tube protector but there is a tire shortage with all of the people taking up biking this summer so that may be a little hard to find…I do have one on the old bike that I can use in a pinch but I’d like to keep that one intact so I can start working on it soon…ha, I just realized I have a parts bike that I can cannibalize if I need to…I’ve had parts cars before but never a parts bike…not much to do today…going to play that this is a real weekend and act like it without much work….I am going to clean some and do laundry but that will be it…have to get some food out of the freezer to start emptying that with all the chicken I have in it that needs to be used….more later….<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
