Well…hit 3,000 miles for the year on the bike today after doing two rides for the first time in a couple of days….felt good doing it but it was really humid here all day and I was soaked when I got back here and I’m feeling it now with some soreness in my legs…going to try to get to 5K this year but it will probably be more like 4 but I’m okay with that…that will mean 10K miles in the past two years and that isn’t bad for an old guy….and I got out to the beach for the 4th day in a row and got pretty scorched…my skin can’t take the sun even in the small quantities I have been exposing it to…I mean, only 20 minutes per side and then home? Okay, I’m out there for about an hour or so but 20 minutes of that is in the water and only my head is exposed….I did see a huge ore ship crossing Muskegon Lake today as I was coming home and had to stop and take my ear buds out to listen to it…I really thought it would make a chugging sound, why I don’t know, but it was essentially silent as it headed out the channel to Lake Michigan…still cool to see something that big cruising on the lake….<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
