Well…it’s still amazing to me how much damage even a slow speed crash on the bike does…I basically hurt almost everywhere with new spots of pain popping up almost by the minute…my left side is howling right now and I must have landed on my left hip and shoulder with how much it hurts and the pain wraps around my back all the way to the right side…and now my ribs hurt on the right side in the front…and, needless to say, my thumb is swollen and stiff and weeping plasma so badly I had to re-bandage it to soak it up….I did get two rides in today but shifted much less than normal since it hurts my thumb to downshift and I hope it will be better tomorrow…it looks really bad, too, laying one injury on top of another and it looks like it will take probably a year to get the nail damage grown out….so, I didn’t do anything else today since it really hurts to do anything and I already took an ibuprofen this morning so I can’t take another one til later today….so, I think I’ll take the rest of the day off and watch some soccer….I have to work on the lawn tomorrow and I sure hope I can get through it without another breakdown since I can’t really do repairs until my thumb heals a bit…darn…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
