Well…darn, another day and more busyness…it’s 1:30 and I am now just taking the first break since first light when I went out to shovel the snow…then on the bike for a hard 10, got laundry going, and then right into making soup and I just put 3 containers into the freezer and have a half of another one in the fridge for tomorrow…damn, it takes a lot of chopping to get the veggies ready and my thumb hurts from it….this time, I think I skimmed enough fat off the top so it won’t leave that orange layer on the top of the soup like last time….and I had to throw out two ham bones that have been in the freezer since last year to make room for the new soup but that’s okay…still have a turkey carcass to make some turkey soup later in the winter so that will work….the clean up from the soup is always a pain, too, and have done two loads of dishes already today…but dinner will just be another bowl of soup so only a couple of dishes to wash….now I am going to try to find a topic for later…still need to do more of those but topics have been scarce….<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
