Well…didn’t get out of bed til almost 7 this morning even with waking up around 5 or so and that means I’m running late for getting on the bike since it is 7:23 now and I have just poured my first cup of coffee…can still make it out by 8 so I guess that’s not too late….and I’ll be able to get two rides in by 11 or so…had a good day yesterday and went out to lunch with my brother to a new place that I’ve never been so that was cool…even after 16 months out here, I’ve not really done much or gone to many bars, etc since I am still thinking about covid and don’t want to be in any maskless crowds…..this could be a fun place if I could get over that fear but not right now….maybe over the winter….it did rain out here yesterday so I don’t have to water the lawn today but I still need to do the gardens…I am really surprised how late my tomatoes are this year…it could be another 3 weeks before any are ripe and that is a month later than last year and I’m not sure why other than the weather….I do have a bunch of food prep to do today with making some potato salad and cooking some of the chicken leg quarters I got wed and then figuring out how to get the rest in the freezer along with the smoked kielbasa and turkey…won’t have to buy any protein for weeks after this and that will keep my grocery bill down for a while….not much to do today…just the bike rides and cooking…probably won’t go out to the beach today but I haven’t decided about that yet….the water was so damn cold thurs that I couldn’t stay in it so it may take a week for it to warm up enough again so it won’t hurt….more later….<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
