Well…running a bit late today with not getting out of bed til a little after 7 but my sleep was fitful and I tossed and turned all night….so I’m feeling it right now and having a hard time getting going…but do I need to get going? Yeah, I do but it won’t be outside today with the temp crashing and winds that I can hear over the tv….had an okay day yesterday and got 4 pairs of “lounge pants” for just sitting around here from my daughter and I really do feel like she is trying to make me stylish…and I do feel a little stylish and they are comfortable brushed flannel and now I can change them out more than once a week…it’s going to be a big sports day today with the US playing the Netherlands in the world cup at 10am and then Michigan playing for the Big Ten championship at 8 tonight so I need to get the bike ride in before that….I was waiting for the Meijers ad to see if I was going to be able to get a cheap ham this year and they have spiral sliced ones for 89 cents a pound so I’ll get one this week and then another one next week…and aldis has chicken leg quarters for 59 cents a pound for a 10 pound bag so I’ll fill the freezer this week…but I need to use some stuff out of it first…starting with another container of turkey soup that I started to thaw yesterday….damn, it’s pushing 8 and I’m only on my first cup of coffee and need to get on the bike by 8:30 so I can be ready for the match at 10….not much to do today….haven’t been accomplishing much lately and today looks the same and it shouldn’t be…have been a lazy slug lately but I don’t see that changing today…and my guilt has been short circuited lately…and I’m not sure how I feel about that…it’s been a driver of getting things done and without it life won’t be the same…but I guess I’ll live through it….more later…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
