Well…last night is how it should be up here all the time…I had my windows and porch open and it was quiet…no damn loud cars, no assholes thinking the neighborhood needs loud music…just the birds and a little wind through the trees…and that just makes it even worse that it won’t last…that tonight will be another night of police calls and loud assholes…and three years of it is enough….damn, it’s cold out there this morning so the first ride is going to be indoors since I want to get to 2,000 miles on that bike to go along with the outdoor miles…only have about 200 miles to do for halfway to the goal…and I’m confident I’m going to get there….slept okay last night and did the conversion to summer in the bed by folding the comforter and putting the thin wool blanket my daughter left me on the bed…got out of bed a little before 6 and that has me on schedule to be on the indoor bike by 7 and then mowing the lawn by 8 if it’s dry enough…if not, I’ll have to sit here until the temp comes up enough to ride outdoors…had a nice little surprise when I found a packet of broccoli seeds in the trunk of the car yesterday and I think I’ll plant them in about a month so I’ll have broccoli all summer…not much to do today…I wonder if I should retire that saying? Once I start today, it will be running all day and I still think there is something wrong with that…but that’s me…goals, goals. goals…more later…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
