Well…I have been looking forward to having fresh green beans from my garden this year and today I picked the first ones…but, there is a catch…I can’t taste them anymore…and that’s all part of losing my taste that has been going on for years now and I think it’s going to get to the point where I can’t taste anything and that will really suck…oh, well…it is going to be HOT this week with temps in the 90’s tomorrow and then near 90 for the rest of the week and the news is going nuts about a “heat dome” that is going be over the eastern half of the country…with the humidity that kept building all day today it is going to be uncomfortable…I even dragged the A\/C unit up from the basement and put it in my bedroom window…it doesn’t work that well but it does take the temp down to tolerable in about an hour…I know I’m getting old when carrying it up the stairs was a lot of work…think I’m going to the beach tomorrow so that means I’ll have to get two rides in early since I don’t want to be out there when it gets over 90 since I won’t be able to swim with how cold the water still is…but this week may do it…it is supposed to be 58.3 degrees today and that may be warm enough to dip in it for a splash…we’ll see…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
