Well…had to sit here to wait out the rain so I could go to the beach and I was surprised how nice the water was…I don’t think it got to this temp all last summer…so I was able to get used to the water quickly and I spent 20 minutes playing in the waves…I do have to remember that I’m not 40 anymore and to not do anything stupid…the waves were pushing me around a bit and the lake floor was so uneven with sand bars and holes all around and that made it difficult to walk without stumbling…I did get a couple of 40 yard rides in on the waves that almost landed me on the beach and I laughed like an idiot…lots of fun but it looks like I won’t be out there again til Thurs with needing to do the grocery run and get three rides in tomorrow…need to get eggs and sweet pickles to make the first batch of potato salad this week…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
