Well…if you’ve been coming here a while, you’ll recognize the title of this one…I used to do a series here and would do a post whenever I would see a band playing a Hammond B-3…and I just saw a new one…watching Peter Frampton playing the songs from “Frampton Comes alive’ on the Sky Arts channel and sitting to the side of the stage is a Hammond B-3…and it has this distinctive sound that I can always hear and I always love…and that started with an artist named Lee Michaels who had one hit called “Do You Know What I Mean” but lots of other songs that are just great…he does a cover of “Stormy Monday” that I still get chills when I hear it…so add another one to the B-3 count…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
