Well…happy St. Patrick’s day to all of you who celebrate…man, I remember the years when a huge group of us would get together and hang out with lots of beer, shots, and laughs…I miss those days a lot…oh, well…I did enjoy the moon shining through my blinds in the bedroom this morning and I just lied there and soaked it in for a bit but then my compulsion to get moving kicked in I was out of bed at 6:09…it is damn cold for March out here right now at 21 degrees and I really hope this is the last of the cold for the spring…it’s going to get to 60 tomorrow but then back down into the 40’s for highs and we really need a break from the cold…or I do…haven’t smelled the spring smell yet and I look forward to that….didn’t get anything done yesterday but bake bread and read but I really should clean some today…oh, I did do laundry yesterday so I guess that’s something…I did take some chicken thighs out of the freezer so I can make the chicken, potatoes, carrots, and rice dish in my half dutch oven tomorrow…and that will last a few days to go with the potato soup and bread…not much to do today…just need to get on the bike in 14 minutes to get started by 7am and get the two indoor rides in…going to suit up and do an outdoor ride this aft…have a can of Colombian coffee I’m going to open this morning and see what it tastes like in my pour over coffee maker…I wonder if it will be as good as my whole bean coffee?
