Well…for the past couple of days, I’ve had a thumping coming from the back tire of the bike and I got tired of it after the two rides this morning so I took the wheel off to look at it and find out what was going on…found a cut in the tire that must have been deep enough to get into the cords and start them breaking…which leads to the tire starting to get a bulge in it that thumps every time it hits the ground…but the cool thing was that my tube protectors I have between the tire and tube did it’s job…without them, I counted at least 10 holes in the tread that would have led to a flat…luckily, I had a new tire in the cabinet that I bought last fall and 10 minutes later the bike is repaired and ready to go out early tomorrow…oh, and later today when I’ll ride down to the “no kings” protest down the hill at Heritage Landing…I am a little curious how many people are going to show up and I saw an article this morning that showed a Target store sold out of poster board so there are a few people that are making signs…it would be cool to see a couple hundred kindred souls down there…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
