Well…that was a little better…didn’t get out of bed til almost 6am but woke up at 4:30 or so and the coffee is not working yet since I just poured the first cup…it looks like rain is going to screw up my plans for the day and make me wait to get on the bike but I’ll take rain any time…need to cut up some chicken and put it in a marinade to make tacos tomorrow and I need to make more potato salad…one of the clerks at DD gave me the idea to add some celery to my recipe and I think I’ll try that with this batch…I think we talked potato salad for 5 minutes and that was fun…a nice woman that I look forward to seeing when I go there….damn, this waiting for rain is hard…reminds me of the Pink Floyd lyric from “Time”…”Staying home to watch for rain”…”but you are young and life is long and there is time to kill today”…none of that is true anymore for me and that sucks…oh, well…trying to figure out how to accomplish something as I wait for the rain or should I put the rain gear on and just get wet?
