Well…I wonder if the new neighbors did too good a job of getting the city to plow up here? Over the past few days the truck have come around 3 times with today’s run with the big plows on the front of the trucks to push the snow piles back to the curbs…so I had to take the spade out so I could shovel the sidewalk out to the street…twice…and the latest time they threw 100 pound chunks of the snow piles that I had to lift and throw into the snowbanks….and then I had to shovel the end of the alley out…again twice…and they left behind a 3 feet deep blockage and that added to the pain that came from shoveling the 3 inches of slush with 2 inches of snow over it yesterday…my arms are just killing me and I will be taking an ibuprofen later…the slush in the alley refroze overnight so I shouldn’t have any problem getting out for the library run tomorrow…the weather was so bad yesterday that the schools were closed and the library didn’t open til noon…felt good being able to get around in that with no problem…more damn snow than I’ve seen in the years I’ve been out here…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
