Well…man, the drive over to the plastic surgeon was as white knuckle as it gets and I don’t think I’ve driven in that kind of weather in years…visibility was down to zero in spots and I never got over 30 even on the expressway…and coming back it was even worse…at times the other cars disappeared into the snow and I couldn’t see them even when they were only 30 feet in front of me…lots of people had their emergency flashers on and I hadn’t ever seen that before…my car did okay except for the icy spots and I had a chore getting it going from a stop…but I just upshifted and it bit and I was even able to get back into the alley and into the garage even though there were 5 inches of snow in the alley…the surgery was pretty easy but I have 6 stitches in my face since they took an almost quarter sized chunk out of my cheek…now the waiting begins to see if it’s skin cancer or not…ick…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
