Well…up again at the normal time around 5am again today and the day of reckoning is here with having to go in to get my driver’s license renewed and pass the vision test…it’s been stressing me out for weeks but my eyes have gotten so much better after quitting drinking that I may just have no problem…but the inflammation in my eyelids has flared and I’m treating them with the ointment I was given last time…not sure if that helps or hurts but I can’t stand the feeling of sand in my eyes…need to get moving in the cold again this morning to get a ride in before I head out for my 9:10 appointment and it struck my I’m going to be wearing the same black polo shirt that I had on the last time I had a photo shot 8 years ago…or was it 12 years? I do know that the shirt was tight back then and now it’s loose so I guess that’s a good thing…I did go out to get some more chicken and some asparagus with a loaf of bread yesterday and I’ve got meals planned to use it the rest of the week…omelets, chicken soft tacos with pickled red onions and avocado, some turkey dogs again with pickles and red onions and baked chicken breast with roasted asparagus…so no boring stuff for the rest of the week starting tomorrow after I get the ingredients for everything…and I may throw a four cheese pizza in there…not sure why I’m even trying to make flavorful food when I can barely taste anything but I’m not going to give up trying….not much to do today…just need to survive the appointment and then the day is mine…as is the rest of the month…more later…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
