Well…have been reading a lot about people in this country who have had to cancel their health insurance through the ACA since the repubs cut premium subsidies…with the subsidies, many families were able to get a good healthcare plan for under 100 bucks a month…but after the repubs cut them, 500 bucks a month is a low price for the same plan and there is no way most people can afford that…after all, surveys have found that almost 60% of Americans have less than 60 bucks in savings so these increases can’t be absorbed…I feel bad for these people and have been fortunate to have health insurance for most of my life other than the 12 years or so that I was unemployed and looking for work as an overqualified old person that no one would hire…so getting to the age I qualified for Medicare was such a relief and it still is to this day when the most out of pocket I would be for a year is under 5,000 bucks…and I have been frugal my entire life so SS supports me quite well…but, what about the people who are working their asses off and can’t afford health insurance? The repubs say “tough shit” and tell them to get a 2nd or 3rd job to pay for health insurance…and if you think there is no difference between the political parties, just look who passed the ACA in the first place…not one damn repub cared enough about the American people to vote for it but the dems passed it and 25 million people had heath insurance until the repubs took it away…Medicare for all…geez…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
