Well…damn, I feel like a slug today after bailing on the 2nd ride this morning…got the first one done in the cold at 53 with a north wind of 25mph…a struggle but I gutted through it…and I filled my coffee cup and got back on the bike and got out about half way and it started to rain and that was the last straw…I could take the cold and the wind but I just couldn’t get wet…I still did some but it wasn’t running off me like it has in the past…reminded me I used to be tougher when I was younger…I remember being out in November at 37 degrees and it started raining so hard that I could only see about 20 feet in front of me and, by the time I got home after about 4 miles, I had to pour the rain out of my shoes I was so wet…giving up won’t happen again…I’ll put my raingear on and go anyway just to prove to myself I can still take it…so it’s been an easy day today but I did run out to aldis to get the veggies I need for the pork shoulder I’m making this weekend…made chicken stir fry today that will last 5 days or so and I baked a couple of breasts so I can have a 2nd meal of sandwiches I can eat..now it’s time to read a bit…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
