Well…had the checkup this morning and it was better than expected…when I got there they took my BP and it was under 130 which is so unusual when it is normally over 150 when I get there… and my weight is under 170 for the first time since I was young and the no drinking and starving seems to be working…every other test was okay with nothing raising any red flags…except my cholesterol which we have been tracking since I moved out here and the doctor recommended that we try the lowest dose statin and see if that will be enough to prevent a heart attack or stroke…and my doctor said to “keep doing what you’re doing” and said my health is better than 99% of his patients…whether or not I believe that, I don’t know but it does feel good that the work I’m doing is helping…so I’m going to enjoy that a bit this afternoon and do some reading…beach was nice but the water appears to be ready to turn over and get cold again…oh, well…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
