Well…while I didn’t accomplish much today, I get a couple of things done and that was enough…both bike rides were in the rain this morning and with the wind blowing 25 out of the east, I darn near gave up after one ride but I gutted it out and got both in…some asshole ran over a couple of geese at the boat launch downtown and I can’t figure out why…I mean geese are annoying but to just run over a couple sure looks like a sociopath is on the loose here…someone who would kill harmless animals just for the hell of it is the worst kind of asshole…I did get out to get the new weatherstripping for the doors today and when I got back here I installed them and it was pretty easy but I did have trouble getting the old ones out of the back door…my kitchen shears cut them easily and I even saved a couple of the old ones to use on the garage door…I did finally make a batch of potato soup today and I may have made too much so I’ll be eating 2 bowls a day to use it before it spoils…I did make popcorn with real butter that I could really taste last night and I can’t figure that out…but I may try it again tonight since I don’t think a bowl of soup and a chicken sandwich is enough…don’t want to fall back into the calorie trap again but I’m on the verge of it with being exhausted this afternoon…oh, well…I think I’ve gained 5 pounds since I started trying to eat enough…and that sucks…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
