Well…I knew it rained a lot here Tuesday when I noticed that the animal water container was full to overflowing when I only filled to half full…and I just read in the news that we got 3.35 inches of rain in that storm…that’s a hell of a lot of rain for a few hours and it even flooded US 31 under the overpass near my house and they had to close it with 4 feet of water there…yow! But that still won’t help my yard at all since it’s built on sand and all of the water just drains through when it rains…but I’ll take whatever we can get…I did order some stuff for the Italy trip today… another pair of shorts, a power converter that gives me American outlets when I plug it in to European electricity…and I also added another kilo of espresso beans since I could still get them for 14 bucks…I needed the shorts since it’s supposed to be near 80 for a high in September in Italy and there is no way I’m walking around in jeans…and that stuff will be here between 4 and 8am tomorrow…now I just need to do an early check in with Southwest for my trip to Richmond to hang with my daughter for a couple of days before we fly to Italy…might look for a couple more shirts to take with me since I only have 5 and I’ll be gone 2 weeks…maybe we’ll have a hotel with a laundry again like we did in Scotland…that would be cool…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
