Well….up and moving at 6am this morning on our last day in Florence…going to the Galileo museum this morning and I am looking forward to that…my feet and legs were pretty puffy from all the walking we’ve been doing so I put my knee high compression socks on to try to get them to get a little back to normal and I think it worked some and I’m happy bout that…I still can’t believe all of the art we’ve seen on this trip and yesterday seeing the 17 foot tall statue of David done by Michelangelo was a highlight…and we saw an unfinished statue by him with the drill marks from cutting away the marble…pretty cool to see his work in progress…the power just went out in my room and a breaker tripped so I had to go down to the desk and and get them to reset it…might have been the induction kettle that I had on to heat water for the first cup of coffee for the morning…looking forward to another day with my daughter as we get into the final leg of the trip…even with eating a lot I still think I’ve lost weight with all the walking and that’s pretty cool…but I think it will take a week or so to get back to normal…if I can…after the trip…back in town in one week…more later…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
