Well… after all the work yesterday, it was nice to take it easier today and just kind of wing it…will be back at it tomorrow with the grocery runs to do but I’m not going out til later since they have the road torn up over on Sternberg and it’s a pain getting through…so I’ll go to the local Meijers and Aldis to avoid the traffic…I did work on the lug nuts for the winter wheels today…hitting them with a wire brush on my drill\/driver and then painting them 2 coats with the silver I bought yesterday…they aren’t chrome but they look pretty good since they are not oxidized like they were and look finished so I can live with them…I may look at depot to see if I can get a small can of chrome for the overcoat but it’s not necessary…I wonder how they will fare in the snow over the winter? Can’t be worse than they were…I think I’ll get the string trimmer out for the last time tomorrow and do the fencelines and around the house…might even mow the lawn to keep the grass short so the wind can blow the leaves away…that does work and saves me a lot of work but we haven’t had much wind here lately but I’m sure we’ll get some as the weather changes…was able to go out in a t-shirt and shorts in the dark this morning since it never got under 70 here but that was the last day this year…50’s and 40’s overnight from here on out…I did get my ballot completed today and will drop it off with the library books I’m done with after the grocery run tomorrow…okay, time to start a new book…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
