{"id":5392,"date":"2012-07-31T09:53:31","date_gmt":"2012-07-31T13:53:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jamesdevol.com\/?p=5392"},"modified":"2012-07-31T09:53:53","modified_gmt":"2012-07-31T13:53:53","slug":"surprised-by-the-detroit-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jamesdevol.com\/?p=5392","title":{"rendered":"Surprised by the Detroit News&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well&#8230;Imagine my shock this morning when I opened the Detroit News (a staunchly conservative repub paper) and found an article by a Nobel prize winning economist, Joseph Stiglitz, who destroyed the normal repub arguments for their economic plan of cuts and austerity by the use of facts and history&#8230;something that will fall on deaf ears on the right but was still surprising to see in their propaganda rag.
