As you know, I&#8217;ve been having some problems with the clutch actuation on the car for a while and yesterday, on the way over to meet G, the thing was barely releasing; starting just an inch or so off the floor and just so inconsistent&#8230;.so, this morning I decided to check everything out and found that the clutch slave cylinder was leaking into the boot which means it needs to be replaced asap&#8230;.so, i bike over to the zone and got a new one for 20 bucks, got back here, and found that I didn&#8217;t have the 12mm short socket I needed to get the bolts out, so back to the zone for the socket and then it was going well until the vacuum pump I bought specifically for this job wouldn&#8217;t pull a vacuum so I had to bleed it the old fashioned way for one person&#8230;.pump the pedal up, then take a piece of angle aluminum I had laying around and wedge it between the pedal and the seat to hold it&#8230;then walk around to open the bleeder, and repeat 5 times until no air&#8230;seems to be okay but we&#8217;ll see tomorrow when I take it out&#8230;.until then&#8230;it&#8217;s break time&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well&#8230;no political one today since I have been working on the car for a couple of hours and I am dirty, sweaty and worn out&#8230;mashed my finger, too, which makes typing a pain, too.
